Securing Eden Point with the latest security technology
Let’s explore the services and security systems we provide for Eden Point. During a complete refurbishment of the building, our team designed, installed and commissioned a number of state-of-the-art security systems to ensure the premises remains secure at all times.
Project Introduction:
Strongbox Security provided a takeover of the site during a complete refurbishment of the building. We have now installed and continue to manage, Intruder Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control throughout the property.
Unlike a domestic property, Eden Point has multiple tenants with 24-hour access. So the systems have to be built in a slightly different way, allowing the flexibility for people to come and go at any time.
External Security:
Starting from the outside, we have Paxton Access Control on all of the entrance points, an Intruder Alarm System on the perimeter of the building and we have remote CCTV monitoring.
Our team looks after the property 24/7 with our remote support service and we have a great relationship with the management team on-site. All of the products on the outside of the building are sprayed in Anthracite Grey to match the aesthetic of the windows and doors.
Internal Security:
Once we step inside, we have Hikvision turret cameras watching over all communal areas. All internal doors are secured with Paxton Access Control readers and Hikvision Turret cameras.
Throughout the property, we have matched the colour of the CCTV cameras to the fixing surface, allowing them to blend in seamlessly.
Security Installation and Testing:
The installation was meticulously executed according to the project timeline. Extensive testing was conducted on all components to verify their functionality and seamless integration.
Statement from the Building Manager
“Strongbox Security has installed CCTV cameras inside and outside of the building. The Access Control has been upgraded. We have roughly 300 colleagues when the building is fully up and running.
We use Strongbox to protect the building and they have done an excellent job. Obviously, the Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems protect the building out-of-hours. Strongbox has done a cracking job whenever we need anything, an engineer is here on the day we call them out.”
